A HUMBLE REQUEST TO CONTRIBUTE FOR THE ORPHANS TO CELEBRATE THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS - "DIWALI"

Our warm greetings and good wishes from the kids of SIVANANDA SARASWATHI SEVASHRAM. 

Festivals and Functions create a sense of purpose in this world and encourages "oneness" in our families. Festivals helps us share the love and affection with our kith and kin. Fortunately or unfortunately this fact is especially true in this fast and furious world. In spite of people living in various parts of the world, these festivals does bring everyone together in a virtual loving environment where families share the thrill with fun and jubilation. 

The rich and the affluent, depending on their capacity and ability, celebrate festivals like Diwali, Christmas, Ramadan, by wearing new clothes bursting crackers and feasting with sweets, lunch, and other types of fun & merry making. 

Every year, Diwali festival in specific, is being celebrated with full of joy and fun all over the world. It is quite natural that the kids who are orphaned for whatever reasons do not get to enjoy as much as anyone else does. It is our sincere concern that their interests and aspirations should be respected too. Therefore, we propose to celebrate this year's Diwali festival by providing two sets of new clothes to each kid, crackers, a grand feast, and other form of entertainment for our kids. 

Although we have enough kind hearted people within our Organization to provide physical services, this initiative does involve a substantial amount to provide all the requirements mentioned above to more than 400 beneficiaries. Hence an appeal is sent through this web site for the benevolent persons to contribute their share for this noble project. 

Donors can contribute in the form of Checks, Demand Drafts, New clothes, Crackers, Oil for bath, and other items like dolls, fruits, sweets, Biscuits, Chocolates, and any consumable items for the kids and the elders who can enjoy them in your name.
